I know it's not Halloween but that is where I am in my scrapping world. Sometimes it feels funny to be creating a layout about the fall or winter & it's a beautiful spring day (not that we've had many of those lately). I am going to a getaway weekend this Saturday & Sunday - I would like to be up to the New Year by the time I get back...we'll just have to wait and see.
So, here's my one of my Halloween layouts for last year. The pictures are actually from October 29 because Halloween was on a Sunday this past October. I got shots of each of the 3 youngest kids at school during the Halloween parade and my oldest just before she left for Middle School.
I used my Cricut to cut out the title; card stock from SU!. I can't remember who designed the patterned paper or the little witches hat (sorry). Simple layout that gets the job done!!
Lovely two page design!

Know what you mean about scrapping holidays at different times of the year. It just seems...wrong. I don't know that I'll ever be able to scrap layouts as they're happening. One can dream though! Love the paper you used and your title! Your weekend sounds like so much fun!!! Have a great time and be productive! :)
