I did something the other day I have never done in all my years scrapbooking. I redid a layout. I admit that I don't always love all my layouts but I usually can appreciate some aspect of the layout. I worked on the below layout over the weekend:
and once I got home & had a chance to look at it again - I hated it. I couldn't let it go-something just bothered me about it. I'm still surprised at myself for taking the pictures off and creating a completely different layout - I have never done this before. But I am very glad I did because I am very pleased with my new layout.
I kept the pictures in the same spot - I just used patterned paper and ribbon to add a little something extra to the layout. I created this embellishment with some ribbon, pearls and a pin:
I won't be making a habit of redoing layouts but I'm glad I did with this one - my mind is at ease. So I'm off to create other projects!!

I can relate....I have torn layouts apart before and started over. I love the ribbon you added! Very nice layout!
