when I get the bug to re-organize my scrapbooking room. It happens every spring but this year I want to go BIG. I love my space but I am not thrilled with my storage options - I feel the need for a change. I have several of those Jetmax (I think that's what they are called) cubes and they work fine but because they are drawers I hide a lot of junk in them. I want to have more "open" storage so I won't be tempted to keep the junk. I also want to change the way I have my inks stored. I have them in the SU! color caddy which was perfect when I was a demonstrator and I needed to bring my inks to crops. But now my inks are 100% home bound - I think I was a wall unit for them.
I'm not the kind of person that just jumps the gun and will do this re-organization quickly. I must make plans...which is what I am in the process of doing. I am looking at bookshelves from Ikea and I am checking out a website called www.organizemore.com for wall units. I think I know where I am headed now I just need to get the money man (aka my husband) on board. Wish me luck!!
Even though I have been bitten by the re due bug I still have found some time to work a cardor 2, here's the latest:
This is really just me fooling around with scraps. The card stock is SU! and the patterned paper is American crafts. The cupcake is a rub-on that I got from a secret sister ages ago - from DCWV. So simple and easy but cute & fun!
Are you doing any spring re-organizing? Got any good tips to share? I always love to hear form others about how they organize their stash!!
Well, I'm not planning on doing any spring re-organizing, but that's because I did a winter re-organizing :) I'm a planner too, problem is I change my mind so much about what I want, it's hard to keep up with myself. I love your card today, great colors today and that rub on is making me hungry!

Cute card! Love the bright colors and cupcakes are always cute. :) I am always re-organizing - it never ends! I have a big mix of both open and closed storage. There are certain things I want to have out and see and other things that I want accessible but seeing it all the time drives me nuts. Good luck with the re-org project.

I love the card!! I reorganize way too often. I just finished the "Finding Your Way" class at Big Picture Classes and one of the best things I learned was finding out what I use on almost every layout and then having it right on my desk all the time (so for me that is border punches, border stickers, alphas, journaling cards). Good luck getting your money man on board and to IKEA......I love that place :)
