Playing With Paper!!

Two days in a row...

Sorry this picture isn't the greatest...not sure what I did.  I found this stamps set at Homegoodsa few weeks ago - it was $1.99 (can't believe it).  I used the color coach to pick the colors - they are Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard and Old Olive.  Such a simple card but really pretty.  I love the new SU! color coach - just wish I remembered to use it more often.

I have a question...where do you buy your Bazzill card stock?  I am running low and need to purchase some.  I feel like it is getting harder and harder to find.  Am I wrong?

I worked on some thank you cards last night...I need several.  I created the one below with all supplies from SU! (I used the color coach to come up with the color combos).  The stamp sets is Friends Never Fade & So Happy for You(from Sale-a-Bration).  I used Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Concord Crush and Daddodil Delight.

Just been crazy around here!

With Christmas around the corner, things are busy enough around here then add in a stomach virus - and it's a disaster!!  I am working madly to get my teacher gifts done & I thought I'd share some with you:

 
I am so into stamping directly on to white cardstock.  Usually I have several layers but I love the simplicity of just stamping on the cardstock.  For this card I used Concord Crush ink from SU!;  the stamps are from the stamp set Embrace Life (SU!) and an Inkadinkadoo acrylic stamp set; and I used the embosslit Beautiful Wings (I love that embosslit!).  I love this card - it's just pretty and elegant!

 
O.K. I love this card!!  I used my Color Coach to direct me with my colors.  I bought some Japanese Masking Tape ( blue polka-dot ribbon) and couldn't wait to make a card with it.  I used Night of Navy, Garden Green and Daffodil Delight for my color choices.  If you haven't tried JMT - it is so cool.  It seems a bit pricey but you get a lot for your money.  I purchased mine from a store on Esty called Pretty Tape (I think that's the name).  I love finding something new to play with and the JMT didn't disappoint!!

I never have a chance to attend any of my friend Jen Peel's open crop nights or technique classes but I did join one of her stamp clubs.  You join for 6 months, agree to spend $25.00 a month (in SU! products) and get to make 2 cards or a scrapbook page that Jen has already designed.  I love it because she holds stamp club 2 nights a month so I can usually make one of the dates.

Last month I was the hostess (did I mention you get to be hostess once during the run of the club!) so I got some extra goodies.  I stopped by Jen's house this afternoon and got my stuff.  I ordered the new in colors; some ink colors I was missing and some cardstock!!!  Plus I got the web embossing folder (if you haven't seen it - it is so cool!!).  I also got a hostess stamp set.  And I finallygot the new color coach - I am soooooooooo happy.  Have you seen it - it is so awesome.\

 
The front side is displays the color.  On the reverse it gives you combinations of other colors that go with the color on the front side.  So many different colors to choose from - I am feeling so inspired.  I love the new color families and the new color coach just gives you more ideas.
